Target Haul: September 2015

Hey folks! I am hopping on here today to show you all a quick Target haul! I love Target. I think it's a great store with so many great products that you can't get at say, Walmart. I picked up some stationery goodies as well as some fall goodies. Let's get into the haul! (Keep in mind this is from two separate trips. One in August and one in September.)

First, I got some fall m&ms. I couldn't resist and I just LOVE m&m's! This yearm, I saw some that I haven't before. They're called Pumpkin Spice Latte M&m's! They're really great. Look for them if you are in Target!! :)

I also thought I'd share the way I store this. I freeze it in 1/4 cup increments in little portion size baggies. I only eat about one bag a week, so this bag will last me for WEEKS!

While I was perusing what was left of the Back-to-School section, I stumbled across this Bic 4 Color Multi Pen. I've always loved the idea of multi pen and I loved that this one has a carabiner clip. I am thinking about adding this to the side of my fauxdori notebook. I will keep you all updated on that!
I also found these in the Back-to-School section. I've used up all my big design post-its for the most part. (I have the little rectangular ones at the moment.) I love green and I love the mushroom thing, so I had to pick these up. I may put some of these in my fauxdori as well!
These next two little pen packs I couldn't pass up. I am a confessed pen and stationery hoarder and addict, and I raise my right hand to acknowledge it (!!!), and so I had to pick these up. I love that they are in their own little resealable bag. I had picked up the capped mini version at Walmart, but I was happy to see the retractable ones at Target, so I picked these up as well!
These are blue, green, red and black.
These are pink, purple, red and black.
I also picked up these pencils... because I am definitely an addict. I always love trying new pens and pencils. It's just something I like to do!
I had seen multiple people recommend these Moleskine Chapters notebooks for your fauxdori, so I picked this up for my blog planning. I will keep you all updated on this as well. :)
This notebook I also found in the Back-to-School section. I thought it was very neat. It's on a bound arc system with the pages that come in and out of the notebook. I really like it! I included a picture of the way it comes off the binding, as well.

While I was looking at the Moleskine notebooks, I walked over to the craft aisles, and found this fall washi tape. I love that it's fall and I think it's relatively well priced at $2. Online, I saw that Target also offered leaf print and cat washi too, but my store didn't have them. If I get back to another store, I will continue looking for the others. :)

This pen was randomly thrown in with the other notebooks. I thought it was a good pen, being a Sharpie and all, and I thought it was neat with the bears on it. I just couldn't pass up an excuse to get another pen!

I needed two other notebooks to use in my courses in school, and I loved these. I use the purple eye glasses print one for English and the blue anchors for Marine Science. I also included the wide ruling in a picture below.

Lastly, I just picked up some more candy. I am not keen on plain candy corn at all, so I picked up this. It's not my favorite candy, but I like it more then candy corn. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to try different forms of candy corn! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and viewing my haul today! I will be back Friday for my weekly planner overview roundup post (with my fauxdori thrown in too). Thanks so much and see you soon!

It's Ben's Life: Blog Intro

Hey folks! This is my first ever blog post. I am so excited to be writing this and I am so happy to be sharing this post.

Now, onto introducing this blog. My name is Ben Williams, and I am the one behind It's Ben's Life. I have been wanting to start this blog for so long. It's a brainchild, and I hope you all love it. This blog will primarily be a lifestyle and crafting blog and also a planner blog. I will be uploading my main lifestyle posts on Tuesdays, and then the planner overview roundup posts on Fridays. That will be my schedule unless I have something special to upload.

Now, I will go into the types of posts that I will be posting on the blog!

Hauls: For these, it's pretty self explanatory. I will be uploading my hauls from places like Simon Says Stamp and Target. I have a few stores I really like to shop at online, like Amazon. and in person, like Target. I may record videos for these, but it all depends on the occasion.

Reviews: These are posts are about products that I have really liked and I want to share with you! It all depends on products.

Favorites: I am really intrigued by these posts and videos. I like seeing what other bloggers and youtubers are loving. I may upload these if I have enough to share!

Cards and Projects: I will lump these back into one post... They are both crafty related. I love to "get creative". It's just so nice to me and I love doing it. I will post some pictures under this. :)

Planner Stuff: I love planning. I also love to decorate my planner. It's just something I love to do, and it's also another creative outlet for me. I will show some sneak pictures here also!

Midori journaling: The whole midori/fauxdori trend is so new to me. I don't know much about it. I have recently purchased a secondhand Chic Sparrow fauxdori from a Facebook group and I am getting used to it. I love it. I have notebooks in there for various reasons. Here are a few sneeks:

Book Reviews: These will be starting later on the blog. I want to get used to blogging, and then I will get into them. For the time being, I am reading Tear You Apart by Sarah Cross. It's a very interesting book and I think you should check it out!

Recommendations: On these types of posts, I will be posting revolutionary products, or things like sales, that I think would benefit all of my readers. I may choose one per month from my favorites. Don't know yet, but we'll see! :)

I also have some special posts in mind. This year, I am planning to do a December Daily. I will probably put it as a one day or three day upload with the previous pages. But, I will see when that time comes. I also want to do some Christmas themed posts, such as: Gift guides, Christmas videos, things like that. Finally, I want to do some seasonal posts. For things like fall, spring, thanksgiving, etc.

I can't wait to share more with you. This is going to be such a great experience for me, and for my readers. Thanks for visiting today and I hope you're having a great day wherever you're at!
